Rhi-lax started with a passion for nail polish and painting fun designs. I can look back on childhood memories of hiding in my bedroom to put a new color on my nails... And getting caught by my mom every time because she could smell the polish! These days I'm grateful to work with more pleasant aromas in my spa and pride myself on the use of healthy options for my client's skin and nails.
Creating unique and fun nail art is one of my greatest passions. I am trained with Wildflower Nails as a master artist.
In 2013 I began my professional education. After graduating I proceeded to get professionally licensed in Nails, Skin & Hair. After gaining experience and confirming I love the profession, I realized I wanted to go into business for myself. I became determined to provide quality, affordable nail and skin care in a comfortable and clean setting.
May 9, 2019, Rhi-lax was officially opened!
I work as a freelance technician, and I strive to maintain a professional and unique spa atmosphere for every guest. You can always expect your experience to be cozy, creative, comfortable and clean.

It's fair to say I'm a crazy cat lady... We rescued our first kitten, Chitty Kitty Bang Bang in October 2015. Then two more cats, Paprika and Canyon, entered the pack in June 2019.
After dating for 5 years, I married my wonderful partner, Matt, in 2020.
We're obsessed with our two kiddos, Elenora and Artemis. We've been living on the mountain for
5 years and most enjoy trips to the Oregon coast.
We have a plethora of hobbies. Hiking and camping are amongst my favorites. I enjoy sports in many forms. Basketball, soccer, tennis, frisbee golf, kite flying, snowboarding and bowling -just to name a few. I craft in an excess of ways. I like to paint, quilt, scrapbook, sew and tie dye! I am an amateur bird watcher and recommend the local Wildwood Park as a great spot to see a large variety of winged beasties! My daughter is admittedly a better bird spotter than I am.
It's my long term dream to rhi-model an rv into a fully mobile luxury spa! I bought Rover, a 31 foot minnie winnie, that I have been slowly but surely transforming into that dream. In the meantime, I'm happy to travel directly to clients.
